Grace L Walker

Grace L. Walker, age 76 of Morristown, went home to be with her heavenly father on November 25, 2017, at Lakeway Regional Hospital. She was a retired Nursing Aid from Morristown Hamblen Healthcare after 25 years of service. She was a lifelong member of Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Grace is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mattie Overbay, brothers, Harold and Carroll Overbay. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James “Eddie” Walker, brother, Howard (Kaye) Overbay, brother-in-law, Johnny (Kathy) Walker, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Watkins, special friends, Bill and Judy Taylor also several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Amedisys Home Health and Hospice for their care and kindness during her sickness. A Graveside Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, 11:00am in the chapel mausoleum of Hamblen Memory Gardens with the Rev. Sam Dzobo and Travis Overbay officiating.
