Grace Mae Reneau

GRACE MAE RENEAU, age 90 of Dandridge, TN passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, May 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was a founding member of the Dandridge Full Gospel Ministries Church and was active in her church and community.  She was known as Mama Grace to everyone in church and community also known as “Granny” to the grandchildren and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all she came in contact with.  She will be remembered for helping others and was always willing to help any way she could with projects in her church and community.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years,  Herbert Reneau; father and mother, William (W.R.) Swann and Hesta Lee Loveday-Baxter; step father, Houston Baxter; brothers, Tommy and Carl; sisters, Dorothy, Betty, and Louise; grandchild, Angel Dawn.  Grace was survived by her children, Susie (Rev. Troy) Duncan, Don (Clara) Reneau and Patty (Ken) Sparks; brother, Rev. Cecil Baxter; sisters, Linda Simpson, and Shirley Edmonds; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Special Thanks to, Amanda Duncan Tipton, Leslie Blair, Dylan Gray, and Smoky Mountain Hospice of Morristown.

Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, 7:00pm at the Dandridge Full Gospel Ministries Church with Dr. Darrell Bewley and Rev. Cecil Baxter officiating.  Interment graveside services will be held, Wednesday, 1:00pm at Hills Union Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at the church.
