She was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Essie Bell Rea; sister, Trula Rea and brother, Ralph Rea. Survived by husband, Gwyn Calfee; step-children, Ginger Stegall of Boone, NC, Jerry Calfee of Morristown, TN, John Calfee of Rogers, TX, Tony Calfee of Yakima, WA, Danny Calfee of White Pine, TN, and James Calfee of Lexington, KY; sisters, Lucille Miller of Morristown and Betty Patterson of Snellville, GA; several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Opal and Claude Weston; special friend, Mrs. Nellie Grubb. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2004 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2004 at Hamblen Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Gideon Organization.
