Gloria Jean Atchley

GLORIA JEAN ATCHLEY, age 80, of Dandridge, TN, formerly a long-time resident of Lebanon, TN,passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 at her home. She was born July 25, 1927 in Forest City, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Gene and Inez Weatherby. Preceded in death by husband, Jeff D. Atchley and sister, Betty Davis. Gloria was an active member of the Dandridge First United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed attending and participating in many activities and was past president of the United Methodist Women. Survived by daughters, Tina and husband Greg Frizell of Tell City, IN, Mary and huband Joe Hadden of Morristown, TN; son, Terry and wife Tisha Igou of Dandridge, TN; grandchildren, John Payne, Jenny Lee Barrett, Josh Igou, Joe Igou, Ben Igou, Joe Ralston Hadden, Rebecca Hadden Wise and John Hadden. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Larry DeVault and Rev. Bob Emmert officiating. Interment graveside services will be Saturday, February 16, 2008, 1:00 CST at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon, TN. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Dandridge First United Methodist church, P. O. Box 8, Dandridge, TN 37725.
