Glida Ruth Ellis

Glida Ruth Ellis, age 72 of Morristown, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved being with family, singing, poetry, and coloring.

She is survived by her children, Hollis Romines, Marvin Romines, Mary (“Tayo”) Gonzalez, Geneva (“Nemo”) Alvarez, and Ramon Rodriguez; grandchildren; Manuel (Claudia) Negrete, Alicia (Billy) Gonzalez, John (Keisha) Gonzalez, Jose (Tori) Rodriguez, Miguel (Margie) Rodgriguez, Rojelio Rodriguez, Rosa Rodriguez, and Ashley Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Asher, Freya, Willow, Charlotte, River, Jamyrah, Josalynn, Miguel, Jr., Cataleya, Jacob, Isaiah, Nevaeh, Gabriella, Rafael, Julian, Demitrius, Sariyah, and Xavianna.

A funeral service will take place at 7PM Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM prior to the service. Burial will be at 11AM Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Hills Union Cemetery.
