GLEN REYNOLDS, age 86, of Dandridge, TN, formerly of Knoxville, passed away Saturday evening, December 20, 2008 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. He was a graduate of Maury High School in Dandridge and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and World War II, having served in the Philippines and the Pacific Theatre aboard the U.S.S. San Pablo. Glen was owner and operator of Courtesy Body Works for many years and was an active member of the Loveland Baptist Church and in the Spring Hill Community. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl Joseph Reynolds and Betty Brogdan Reynolds; grandson, Matthew Cissna; brother, Carroll Reynolds and many good friends. Survived by wife, Evelyn Rutherford Reynolds; children, Charles Reynolds of Pigeon Forge, Sandy Reynolds of New Market, and Pat and John Semmer of Dandridge; grandchildren, Adam and Mary Beth Cissna, Josh and Stacy Reynolds and Micah Reynolds; sister, Dorothy Frye; sister-in-law, Juanita Reynolds; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Ed Cloud officiating. Intermemt graveside service with military hornors will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
