Gladys Bailey Whaley

GLADYS BAILEY WHALEY, age 91, of Dandridge, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. She was a member of French Broad Valley Baptist Church for over 70 years. She retired from Wagner’s in Sevierville and part-time at Beehive in Sevierville. Preceded in death by her husband, Ben Whaley (2010); parents, John H. Bailey and Georgia Rhea Douglas Bailey; and eight brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janice (Leonard) Webster of Dandridge; heart-daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Chad Ross; heart-grandchildren, Collin Ross and Hannah Ross; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at French Broad Valley Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 3:00pm with Reverend Charlie Harkleroad and Reverend Stephen Swann officiating. A graveside interment will follow at Underwood Cemetery with Reverend Fred Heard presiding.
