Gladys Reece Cody

GLADYS REECE CODY, age 84 of White Pine, Tn went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, August 11, 2004 after a long bettle with cancer. She attended the Freewill Baptist Church of White Pine and was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of God. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Long (Big Bert) Cody; parents, Jim and Lonie Reece; brother, James Reece. Survived by sons, George Cody, Donald Cody and Lynn Cody, all of White Pine; daughters, Jean Russell of Talbott, Bobbie Brennan and Carolyn Cody, both of White Pine; sister, Addie Sartain of Dandridge; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2004 from the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Rev. Doug King officiating. Interment graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge.
