Gladys Clara Brown

GLADYS CLARA BROWN, age 94, of Knoxville, TN and formerly of the Piedmont community in Jefferson County, passed away on June 14, 2009. She was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Al Brown. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Sharron and Jack Hampton, Susie and Gerald Templeton; grandchildren, James and Alisa Stallings, Felicia Lee and partner Amy Yates, Michael and Tasha Lee, Mandy Crawford, Michelle McIntyre, Bucky Hart; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; special friend, Delores Latham. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Bruce Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Piedmont Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
