Geraldine Ray Dockery

Geraldine Ray Dockery, age 79 of Dandridge, went home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2023 at UT Medical Center. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Elizabeth Ray, 3 sisters, Anna Fain, Vera Cuberson and Margaret George, 3 brothers, Eugene Ray, Edward Ray and Walter Ray, daughter, Viola “Daisy” Oliver and granddaughter, Courtney Ray. She leaves to mourn her passing, husband of 57 years, Carl E. Dockery, children, Shelia Ray, Galia White, Geral “Babe” Bragg, Carla Sue Dockery, Carl E. Dockery Jr and Tammy A. Dockery, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sister,  Vivian (Joseph) Dockery along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Homegoing service for Mrs. Dockery will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge with Rev. Donna Branner, Rev. Rosie Cuberson and Pastor Mike Hannon officiating. Graveside interment will follow in Belmont Cemetery after the service. Family will receive friends between the hours of 1:00pm and 2:00pm, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 prior to the funeral service.
