Georgia Deering Maloy

Georgia Deering Maloy, age 99, of White Pine, TN passed away Friday evening, June 6, 2003 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was born Jan 4, 1904 in White Pine, the daughter of the late George and Lillie Shipley Deering. She was a life time member of the Beth Carr United Methodist Church where whe was a charter member of the United Methodist Women of Beth Carr and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Maloy, Sr.; brothers, Arthur and Clyde Deering; soster, Beatrice Deering Matthews; niece, Edna matthews; half brothers, grover and Bill. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dewey and lou Maloy; granddaughters, Tamera (Maloy) Harrell and husband, Gregg, Tonya Maloy-Wilson and great grandson, Jordan Wilson, all of White Pine; several nieces and nephew. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2003 at Farrar White Pine Chapel with Rev. fred Lehrer officiating. Interment graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2003 at White Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
