Georgia Ruth Langston

MRS. GEORGIA RUTH LANGSTON, age 66, of Russellville, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at St. Mary?s Jefferson Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She graduated from the old West High School in Morristown and was a very active member of Citizen Baptist Church, Russellville, TN. Georgia volunteered for Morristown-Hamblen Hospital, American Cancer Society (Reach to Recovery), was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and retired from BASF, where she was an employee for over 33 years. Preceded in death by her parents, James C. Nicely, Sr. and Mattie Lou Nicely. Survived by her loving husband of 43 wonderful years, Hollis Lee Langston, Jr. A very loving mother survived by her daughters, Melanie Langston of Morristown, Tangela (Theo) Malone of Cross Plains, TN, and her son, Hollis Lee Langston III (Keisha) of Elizabethton, TN. Also to cherish her loving memory, grandchildren, Whitney Denae Long of Johnson City, Malcolm and Quentin Malone of Cross Plains, Kiara Moore of Morristown, Deon, Merci, and Hollis Lee Langston IV of Elizabethton; her supporting and loving siblings, James C. Nicely, Jr. of Morristown, Cora Nicely of Russellville, Roberta (Joe) Patton, Edna Lou Nicely of Hackensack, NJ, Robert (Debbie) Nicely of Whitesburg, Sammie Nicely of Atlanta, TN; and one aunt, Charlsie McNair of Morristown, TN. Receiving of friends will be Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson with the funeral at 3:00 p.m. Graveside interment service will follow at Westview Cemetery in Jefferson City, TN.
