She was a member of Hills Union United Methodist Church and a member of the Women?s Auxiliary of the church. Preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by special nephew, David Smith and wife, Anita, of Auburn, Washington; granddaughter, Shanda L. Smith of Washington; several wonderful nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Robert Brewer officiating. Family and friends will meet Thursday, June 17, 2004 at Hills Union Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
