George E. Wright

GEORGE E. WRIGHT, age 76, of Jefferson City, TN passed away May 7, 2017 at Turkey Creek Medical Center. He was a veteran of the US Army, member of Buffalo Grove Baptist Church and retired from Brown Transport and Nashua. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, farming and beekeeping. He will be sadly missed by all. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Jessie Wright; sister, Billie Gorman; infant sister, Sue Wright; brothers, Jack, Franklin Dee and Billy Wright. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Ann McCarter Wright; sons, Jeff (Kimberly) Wright, Tim (Katrina) Wright, and Brian Wright; granddaughters, Deanna, Rachel, Makayla, and Madison Wright; grandsons, Hunter, Michael, Blake, and Allen Wright; great-grandson, Jayden Patterson; sister, Jean (Dan) Maltba; brothers, Luther Wright, Charles (Velma) Wright and Clyde (Vicki) Wright; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Chester Lee, Billy Whitt and Ronnie Colley. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Jack McCarter and Rev. John Pinkston officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Buffalo Grove Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
