George (Dick) Eslinger

George (Dick) Eslinger, age 81, of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday, May 7, 2004 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home in Dandridge, TN. Preceded in death by wives, Jewell M. Lane Eslinger and Clara Delozier Wilson Eslinger; parents, George and Sarah Eslinger; brothers, Tom Eslinger and William (Red) eslinger; sisters, Francis Patterson and Pauline Corbett. Survived by sone, George Eslinger and wife, Francis of Lewisburg, TN, and Gary Eslinger of Dandridge; brothers, Turney Eslinger of Dandridge and Earl Brown Eslinger of Dandridge; sister, Sue Satterfield of Dandridge; grandchildren, Steven Eslinger, Julie Ausmus and Barbara J. Doughty; several step children, step grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2004 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with Rev. Jerry Colbert officiating. Graveside interment service will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2004 in Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
