George H. Dotson

Rev. George H. Dotson, age 80, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Founder and pastor of Bible Aires Baptist Church, veteran of the Korean War. Preceded in death by wife, Betty Love Dotson; daughter, Debra Kay Woods; sister, Lorene Sandifer; grandson, Patrick Raper; great grandson, Martin Woods; great great grandson, Malik Wynn; parents, Ephrim and Beulah Dotson. Survived by wife, Linda Click Dotson; daughter and son-in-law, Pat (David) Raper; son-in-law, Junior Woods; son and daughter-in-law, Tracy (Kim) Click; daughters, Patricia (Ralph) Click, Cindy (Jerry) Hunt, Susie (Jack) Hamm; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter; brother, Carroll Dotson; sister, Mildred Jarnigan; several nieces, nephews, cousins and loving church family. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Bibles Aires Baptist Church with Rev. Sherman Duncan and Rev. Carl Bryan officiating. Military graveside service will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City.
