George Esco Carr

George Esco Carr, age 88, of White Pine, TN passed away at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center on Friday, January 20, 2012. He attended local community churches and was of the Baptist faith. He was a truck driver for many years before retiring. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Hannah Carr; four brothers; two sisters;and a great-grandson, Thomas Byrd. Survivors include his children; Carolyn (Dan) Davis, Matthew Carr, Treva Carr, Dale (Kim) Carr and Jason Carr,; grandchildren, Deanna, Katrina, David, Noah and Mary; adopted granddaughter, Natasha; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Wright; and several nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. Darrell Chambers, Rev. Robbie Drinnon and Rev. Harold Manis officiating. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at Beth Carr Cemetery.
