George Everett Adams

George Everett Adams age 82 of Talbott, TN and formerly of Beech Grove, TN., and Leatherwood, KY, passed away 3:30 A.M. Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Jefferson Park at Dandridge. He was of the Baptist Faith. Veteran of the Korean conflict having served in the U.S. Army. He was retired form Magnavox in Jefferson City and Pillsbury Corp. in Murfreesboro, TN. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife: Claudia Adams, parents: Dewey and Zola Adams; Sister: Margie Whitaker; and Brother: Rev. Murrell Ison. Survived by Son: Randall Adams of Talbott, TN; Daughter and Son-in-Law: Jayne and Rob Martin of Morristown, TN. Grandchildren: Layney (Austin) Cole and Ramsey Martin. Brother: Thomas Adams of Hazard, KY. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Trevor Roberts officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
