Genevieve McKinney

GENEVIEVE MCKINNEY, age 76, of White Pine, TN went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 1, 2008 at her home following a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late George Walter McKinney and Mae Free McKinney. Preceded in death by her dear sister who she cared for all her life, Christine Lillian McKinney. Genevieve was a faithful member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Newport, TN. She is survived by cousins, Helen McKinney and Katy McKinney of Morristown, Emma Jean Ellis of Bean Station and other cousins; special friends and her church family at Hilltop Baptist Church who would like to extend a special thank you to Smokey Mountain Home Health and Hospice of Morristown and Newport, Jamie Whittaker and the CNA's, Dr. Dennis Klein, Dr. John Lumb, Dr. David Schumaker and Dr. Kenneth Hill, and every man and woman who gave their love and care to this precious lady. Thank you Hilltop Baptist Church for all your prayers and support. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 4, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Bro. Cline Franklin, Bro. Junior Loveday, and Bro. Ben Watts conducting the services. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Talbott, TN.
