GENEVA LINDSEY SHIRES, age 75 of Jefferson City passed away Thursday evening, January 8, 2004 at the Life Care Center of Morristown following a long illness of Alzheimers Disease. She was preceded in death by he parents, Rufus and Bertha Lindsey of North Carolina; husband, John Shires and Son, Kenny Shires of Jefferson City; Sister, Jeanette Smith of South Carolina; brother, Ned Lindsey of North Carolina. Survivors: Son & Daughter-in-law: Ron & Kathy Shires of Morristown Son: Steve Shires of Knoxville Granddaughter: Shannon Click of Knoxville, Rachel Shires of Joppa (3) Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews Sister: Peggy Culbreth of South Carolina Brothers: Robert of North Carolina and Charles & Bud of South Carolina Ron & Kathy Shires would like to express their special thanks to all of the staff of Life Care Of Morristown for their wonderful care and concern for Geneva.
