Geneva Reed

GENEVA MEASE REED, age 81 of White Pine, TN passed away Friday evening, September 16, 2016 at the Life Care Center of Morristown. She was the daughter of the late Estell and Veronica (Garrett) Mease. Geneva was a lifelong resident of White Pine and was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of God. Preceded in death by her husband, Joe “Braze” Reed Jr. and brother, R.T. Mease. Survived by her children, Linda Askew, Reba Brown, Arnaze Cantrell, Rose Marie Reed, Shelia Thompson and Kevin “Bo” Reed; sisters, Vergie Ivy and Edna Hickman; brothers, Paul, Earnest, and Noah Mease; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, 11:00am at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel, White Pine with Rev. Vincent Askew officiating. Interment to follow at White Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00pm at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, WHITE PINE
