Geneva Sue Fillers, age 57, of Newport lost her life due to an automobile accident Thursday, April 25, 2024. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister to those she is leaving behind. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lane and brother, Joe Lane. She is survived by former husband, Shane Fillers and step-daughter, Ashley Dalton; son, James (Traci) Fine, Tiffany (John) Fox, and Jimmy (Samantha) Fine; mother, Mary Katheryn Lane; brother, Johnny (Gracie) Lane; sisters, Tammy (Dennis) James, and Becky (Steve) Lane; grandchildren, Jayston, Dylan, Ashlyn, Caleb, Kenlee, Kayleigh, and Breanna; nieces, Angelia, Mary, Miranda, and nephew Johnny and a host of cousins and friends. 

The family will receive friends Monday, April 29, 2024 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge with funeral services to follow at 7:00pm with Terry Green officiating. The family will gather at 10:45am Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Hills Union Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside service.
