Gene Dalton

Gene Dalton, age 69 of New Market, TN passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by step son, Steve Gibson; sister, Norma Russell and brother, Ronnie Dalton. Survivors include his wife Joyce Dalton; son, Baron Dalton and wife Adair; daughter, Leeann Childress and husband Michael; step daughter, Denise Vaughn and husband Ronnie; step son, Dennis Gibson; brother, Kenneth Dalton; sister, Lavern Dalton; four step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge with Reverend Harold Ogle officiating. Family and friends will meet Thursday, December 17, 2009 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville for an 11:30 a.m. graveside service.
