GARY D. WHITEHEAD, age 58, of Talbott, TN passed away at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness. He was an employee of Rich Products with 12 years of service. Preceded in death by his father, Henry Whitehead; grandparents, William and Naomi Graham and John and Maggie Whitehead. Survived by mother, Grace Whitehead of Talbott; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Janice Whitehead of Talbott; niece, Kristi (Scott) Kanipe of Morristown; nephews, Jason (Amber) Whitehead of Talbott, Patrick Whitehead of Talbott; great nieces, Sarah, Taylor, Jesse and Alex; great nephews, Tyler and Ethan. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Messer officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
