Gary Lynn Lawing

Gary Lynn Lawing Sr, known affectionately by friends as “Tire Man” of Cocke Co, born in Dayton, OH on December 26, 1946 passed away at his home on June 11, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Doyle and Hilda Sue Willis Lawing and sisters, Donna Lawing and Teresa Duke. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Amanda Tuggle Lawing, daughters; Jennifer Morgan, Julie and Jackie Lawing and Ashley Gammons; son, Gary Lynn Lawing Jr.; grandchildren, Cody Hughes, Hallie Gore, Jasmine Gammons and Railynn Lawing. Funeral Services will be held on June 27, 2015, 2:00pm at Upper Paint Creek Church on Viking Mountain Road in Greeneville with the Elder Matthew Paris Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends a hour prior to the funeral service. The family has requested the In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations be made to Farrar Funeral Home P.O. Box 206, White Pine, TN 37890 to help with the funeral expenses.
