Gary Cate

GARY CATE, age 74, of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015. He was the son of the late Clyde and Evaudna (Mason) Cate, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge. Gary is survived by his wife, Dorothy Cate; sisters, Betty (Alfred) Ballard, Celeste (Condon) Batson, Wanda (Jim) Smith and Joann (James) Morgan; brothers, Carroll (Marilyn) Cate, and Charles (Libbie) Cate; several nieces and nephews and cousins. A special thanks to the entire staff of Jefferson County Nursing Home and Amedisys Hospice for their kindness and excellent care for Gary. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift to the Jefferson County Nursing Home would be greatly appreciated. (Jefferson County Nursing Home, c/o Denise Denton, 914 Industrial Park Rd., Dandridge, TN 37725.
