Gary Wayne Cameron

GARY WAYNE CAMERON, age 67, of Rutledge, TN passed away suddenly at 5:40 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2017 at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in the Vietnam era, and retired from the U. S. Postal service with 25 years of service. His favorite hobbies were working on his farm and restoring old cars. Preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Sue Cameron; daughter, Starla Cameron Coffey; parents, C. H. and Velma Cameron; sister, Janice Cameron. Survived by daughters, Sonya (Ringo) Ramsey and Selena (Doug) Byrd; son, George (Stacy) Cameron; grandchildren, Nathan Munsey, Whitney Myers, Megan Strange, Harley Ramsey, Nick Cameron, Cheyenne Ramsey, Sierra Byrd, Amy Cameron and Austyn Cameron; five great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Cameron, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Stacey Lawson officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family will gather at 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Washburn for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service with military honors.
