Fred Rowe

FRED ROWE, age 83, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on April 24, 2021 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center with his loving family by his side after a short illness. He was the owner and pharmacist of Long-Rowe Drug Store and later Rowe Drug Center. In later years he partnered with many younger pharmacists to help them get their business started. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved riding in his convertible, activities on the lake, and was especially known for his sense of humor and telling jokes. Preceded by his parents, Cecil and Estella Webb Rowe; brother, Kenneth Rowe. He is survived by his wife, Faye McGinnis Rowe; children, Frank Rowe (Chris Kane), Dwain Rowe (Christina Coffman); Diane Rowe Bailey (Bill); grandchildren, Chelsea Sasaki (Dan), Cameron Froerer (Logan), John Rowe (Kristy), Andy Rowe (Kody), Brett Bailey and fiancé Ellen Sears; Camille Davis (Al), Forrest York (Trey); Macey Bailey; great-grandchildren, Brennen, Emmalynn, Jonah, Zoey and Kate Rose; older brothers, James Rowe; Cecil Rowe and wife Caroline; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may pay their respects at Farrar Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with John Rowe officiating.
