Fred William Denton

FRED WILLIAM DENTON, age 83, born June 8, 1928, of Kodak, TN, passed away February 11, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, Daniel Otto and Melinda Jane Denton; brothers, Howard, J. D., Jake and Ed Denton; sister, Maude Denton; infant grandson, Dustin Siler. Survived by wife of 31 years, Wilma Denton; children, Deborah (Buddy) Roach, Mark (Paulette) Denton, Vickie (Jim) Lynch; step-children, Jesse (Shelly) Valentine, Eddie (Rhonda) Stafford, Pattie Haun and Tommy Cooper; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Robert Johnson and Greg Harger officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
