Fred Leonard (Babe)

FRED LEONARD (BABE) IVY, age 77, of White Pine, TN passed away at 3:00 a.m. Sunday, October 23, 2006 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab, following an extended illness. He attended Mt. Zion Church of God. Preceded in death by son, Daryl Ivy; parents, Roosevelt and Ada Ivy; brothers, Orville Ivy and Ferd Ivy. Survived by daughters, Kathy (Larry) Crosby of Midway, TN, Susan Seaton of White Pine, Lisa Walker of White Pine, and Patti (Tommy) Talley of White Pine; sons, Bobby (Shirley) Ivy of Morristown, Dwight Ivy of Morristown and Rodney Ivy of White Pine; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth (Donald) Morgan of Jefferson City and Nellie Webster of Bell Glade, FL; brothers, Glen (Virgie) Ivy of White Pine, Charles (Leoma) Ivy and Wayne (Roella) Ivy, both of Newport; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at White Pine Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Colbert officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2006 at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank Jefferson City Health and Rehab and Adventa Hospice for their care and kindness shown during Fred's sickness.
