Franklin D. Asbury

FRANKLIN D. ASBURY, age 75, of Bartley, WV passed away on December 15, 2010 at his daughter?s home in New Market, TN. He was born in Rockridge, WV on July 24, 1935. He was baptized at Mill Springs Baptist Church, was a retired school teacher, and was a veteran of the US Air Force. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Albert and Alice Asbury; two grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; and one son. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Asbury; daughters and sons-in-law, Tami and Tim Dillon, Tonia and Eddie Schofield; son, Jerry Asbury; grandchildren, Amanda Maish, Brock Dillon and David Asbury; several other grandchildren; five sisters; two brothers; and very special dog, BJ. Family will receive friends Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Rusty Webster officiating.
