Frankie Jane Corbett

Frankie Jane Lethco Corbett, age 84, of Conyers, GA, passed away on May 27, 2024. She was born on September20, 1939, to Frank Lethco and Dorothy Rimmer Lethco. She was a native of Dandridge, Tennessee. Jane and her family moved to the Atlanta area in 1964. She was a homemaker. She was a loving wife and devoted mother, investing herself in the lives of her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was very creative and especially enjoyed crafting.  She was a big sports fan and loved the Tennessee Volunteers and the Atlanta Braves. Most importantly, she loved Jesus Christ and served Him in many ways over the years as a member of White Oak Hills Baptist Church, Rehoboth Baptist Church, Stone Mountain First Baptist Church, and Heritage Hills Baptist Church. Jane was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Dorothy Lethco; her husband of 64 years Roy Corbett; and her sisters Barbara Trent and Rubye Rucker.  Jane is survived by her daughter Elise (Sam) McCalvin, of Conyers, GA; sons Craig (Sharon) Corbett, of Lilburn, GA, and James (Theresa) Corbett, of Conyers, GA; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Jane’s family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers for their dedicated and compassionate care of her over the last several weeks.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Scot Ward Funeral Home in Conyers. There will be a visitation at Farrar Funeral Home, 162 E. Meeting St., Dandridge, TN 37725 from 12:15-12:45 on Saturday, June 1, 2024.  A graveside service will be held at Dandridge Memorial Gardens in Dandridge, TN, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
