Frank was a member of Swann?s Chapel Baptist Church, where he has served as Sunday School teacher and Deacon. He is retired from Asarco Mines, where he was known as ?the old man,? and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Mae Newman Wise; parents, Hubert and Nelle Wise; brother, F. L. Wise, all of Dandridge. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Sonny Strange of Jefferson City, Veronica and Brent Dickenson of Morristown, Cherry and Steve Gass of Dandridge; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Adrianne Wise of Indian River, MI, Dennis and Kaye Wise of Dandridge; 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Memorial funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, August 23, 2005 from the Swanns Chapel Baptist Church. Family and friends will gather at the family home on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 to proceed to Swanns Chapel Cemetery for an 11 a.m. military graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service at the church on Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to Swanns Chapel Baptist Church, 1309 Waterfront Drive, Dandridge, TN 37725.
