Francis T Strange

Frances Taylor Strange of White Pine, TN passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2024 at UT medical Center. She was born July 21, 1947 to the late Herman and Lydia Gregg. Frances married Lynn Strange on September 25, 1965. Frances and Lynn built a beautiful life and loving home together. Frances’ greatest joy and biggest pride of her life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Throughout her life, Frances was the epitome of kindness, compassion, and love. She had a warm smile that could light up a room and a heart that always put others before herself. Her family was her everything, and she spent her days nurturing, supporting, and loving them unconditionally. Frances was known to many as “ Nana”. Frances is survived by her husband of 58 years Lynn Strange, daughter Penny Fritz and Son-in-laws Darren Fritz and Scott Whitehead; seven grandchildren Taylor (Heath)Johnson, Jesse (Destiny)Henson, Hayden Fritz, Ryleigh (Zach)Thomas, Jace Henson, Kaity Fritz, and Jaxen Henson; great grand children; Poppy Lynn, Lylah, and Lynnon; brother Randel (Sue) Gregg; sisters Mary Lynn Potter and Lib (Ed) Cagle. Frances was preceded in death by father and mother Herman and Lydia Gregg; daughter Vickie Strange Henson; brothers Carl and Jack Gregg; sister Nancy Cogdill; brother-in- law Allen Potter and Willie (Jenny) Strange. 

Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, 4:00pm in White Pine Cemetery.
