Francis "Doe Belly" Meade

FRANCIS “DOE BELLY” MEADE, age 46, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center following a brief battle with lung cancer. Francis was born August 6, 1969 in Covington, KY to Mary Lou Hall and Larry Meade. On November 3, 1989 he married his wife of 26 years, Michele Meade in Fort Pierce, FL. He was employed at Koch Foods of Morristown, TN. He enjoyed his job and the people he worked with. Doe was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle and papaw. He had a heart of gold and a strong will to live. He fought a very hard battle but in the end God called him home. He always did for others before himself. He was very loved by not only his family but everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Dean. Doe is survived by his three children, Angel, Joshuwa, and Kevin and his wife, Michele; grandchildren, Tristen, Dominic, Keegan, Serenity and Lillian; sisters, Melissa, Marlene and Rhonda; brother, John; brothers-in-law, Robert, James and Steven, sister-in-law Debbie, also several nieces and nephews. His favorite quote was “To be the man, you gotta beat the man. Whooo!” A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Wesley’s Chapel, 712 Locket Lane, Jefferson City, TN.
