Frances Manning Denton

FRANCES MANNING DENTON, age 89 of New Market, Tn (Piedmont Community) passed away Monday evening, August 4, 2003 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Isaac and Addie Burchfield Manning. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn T. Denton; sisters, Aileen Shell, Mabel Reese; brother, Glenn Manning. She was a charter member of the Grace Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Ruth Denton Leonard and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral srvices will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Smith and Rev. Vaughn Woody officiating. Interment graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2003 at Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday prior to the services.
