She was a member of First United Methodist Church of White Pine and the Eastern Star. She was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Corps (WAC), where she obtained the rank of Sergeant. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Andrew Fox. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Cathy Fox of Mount Pleasant, SC; daughter, Donna Palmer of Kingsport, TN; sisters, Jenny Jerrems of Florida and Irene Richardson of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Doyle Fox of White Pine, TN. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Dandridge Memorial Gardens with military honors by Morristown VFW Post # 5266. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
