HUDSON, age 92, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Jefferson County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City. Preceded in death by parents, Keith P. and Mary Sherfey Hudson; brothers, James K. Hudson and John W. Hudson; brother-in-law, M. V. Walker; former wife, Elizabeth Harrison Hudson. Survived by sons, Steven and Brent Hudson, both of Wisilla, Alaska; grandson, Sean Hudson of Burlington, NC; sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy Walker of Clinton, TN, Virginia and Dene Quarles of Jefferson City, Betty and Claude Kinnick of Jefferson City. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2005 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Colbert officiating. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Westview Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the funeral services. The family wishes to thank all those at Jefferson County Nursing Home for the care received to Mr.Hudson during his stay there.
