Ferd M. Ivy, age 78 of White Pine, TN passed awy Monday, April 18, 2005 after a brief illness at Morristown Hamblen Health Care. Preceded in death by daughter, Judy Gale Gregg; father and mother, Roosevelt and Ada Ivy; brother, Orville Ivy. Member of Calvary Baptist Church of White Pine. Survived by wife, Lela Large Ivy of White Pine; grandchildren, Kim Broyhill of Sevierville, Carla Russell of Clinton, Rusty Gregg of Florida; great grandchildren, Stephen Brewer, Christy Stidham, Matthew Davis, Tyler Broyhill, and Ashley Gregg; sisters, Nellie Webster of Florida and Elizabeth Morgan of Jefferson City; special friends, Dennis Stapleton and James Mullins; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Calvary Baptist Church, White Pine with Rev. William Bradley officiating. Military graveside services will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Farrar White Pine Funeral Home.
