Faye Townsend

Faye Noonkesser Townsend age 95 of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Everyone that knew Aunt Faye when they met her fell in love with her. She just had that way about her that drew you to Love her thru her kindness and love. She didn’t have any biological children of her own but in an essence, she had many children of her own that was in a form of a stepson, stepdaughter and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews too. Everyone thought the world of Aunt Faye as she was such a loving, caring and gracious person to meet and know. She had a long-blessed life and touched everyone she met and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She is preceded in death by husband John D. Townsend and is survived by her step son John D, "Bud" (Gayle)Townsend and step daughter, Gail Hogston; nephews, David (Linda) Noonkesser, Ronald (late-Sharon) Noonkesser, Steve (Jean) Noonkesser, Dan (Kathy) Noonkesser, the late-Bill (Gayle) Noonkesser; nieces, Debbie Noonkesser, and Jennie (late-Willie) Strange, great nieces Myra Noonkesser-Whittaker, Dee Dee Strange, and, Lisa (Johnny) Jennings, Haley (Josh) Driver; great nephews, the late Barry Noonkesser, Lance Noonkesser, and Scott (Jessica) Strange, great-great nieces Mackenzie and Brooklyn Noonkesser, great-great nephews, Aden Whittaker, Luca Strange, Jonathan, Jarred and Jayden Jennings, and Ridge Driver. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial gifts be made to www.fabledfarmrescue.org, (A mission for animal rescue).  Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 13, 2022, 5:30pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Darrell Chambers officiating. Graveside interment will be Monday, 2:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 to 5:30pm prior to services at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge, TN.
