Faye Murphy Stallard

Faye Murphy Stallard, age 64, of Dandridge, Tennessee passed away Monday morning, September 2, 2002 at her home. Born May 26, 1938, in Leck, Virginia and was the daughter of the late William J. and Florence Rose Murphy. She was a member of the Shady Grove United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a dedicated homemaker. Survived by husband of 48 years, James Stallard of Dandridge; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Greg Strickland of Greenwood, SC; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kathy Stallard of Knoxville, TN and Kevin and Phyllis Stallard of Abington, VA; grandchildren, Benjamin, Tonya, Casey, and Amanda Stallard and Dakota Leopard; sisters and brothers, Cloia Burside of Palatka, FL, Ida Myrtle May of Wise, VA, Howard Murphy of Fruitland Park, FL, Adel Sturgill of Dandridge, TN, and Gay Massie of Coeburn, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shady Grove Methodist Building Fund, 1835 Range Road, Dandridge, TN 37725. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at Shady Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Moncier officiating. Music by Shirley Jean Moore. Interment to follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
