Ezra M. McElhaney

Ezra M. McElhaney, age 82, of Rutledge, TN, left this world of suffering on February 6, 2003 at 6:00 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a retired employee of Sears in Knoxville and was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in World War II. He is survived by his wife, Norma Dene McElhaney of Rutledge; daughter, Janice McElhaney of New Tazewell; daughter and son in law, Tammy and Les Henderson of Jefferson City. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, February 7, 2003 from the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Jefferson City with Dr. Emmett Manely officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday morning, February 8, 2003 at the funeral home and travel in procession to Grainger Memorial Gardens in Rutledge for an 11 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening prior to services at the funeral home.
