Evelyn Rines age 67 of White Pine, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 after a brief illness. She attended Freedom Fellowship when she was able. Evelyn would be best remembered for her love and care for her family. She lived to love and care for her kids and grandkids, she would do anything necessary to help anyone in need… A letter by granddaughter Kaydence Jenkins, My Mamaw, I want to start off by saying that I wish I could see you right now! Since I Cannot see you now, I thought I would write you a letter. When I got home from visiting you, I took a walk. A walk with God. I talked to him in a way I have never before and felt his presence. You are so strong, joyful and it’s so fun to talk to you. Looking back back I wish I visited everybody more often and had a larger connection with you all. Instead, I stopped myself (as always!) and thought about the present. How we have united once again. I love you so much! We do not know what the future will bring, but I do know there will be memories that will make me laugh and cry. I hope to see you thrive, and make new memories, or just sit there in silence acknowledging what we have. You are an amazing mother, sister, grandmother, wife and you’re just a great person period. Calling you my mamaw makes me proudto be your granddaughter. I definlty would love to have more stories about those lemon pies you ate when you were younger, or about how me and Haylee was mamaw’s girls. I understand though if it is not possible, deep down I will know and inherit them. Stay positive, keep up a good attitude and know I’m right here for and with you (If not physically). Love you to heaven and back, to the earth and people he has created.
