EVELYN RUTHERFORD REYNOLDS, age 91, of Dandridge, TN, formerly of Knoxville, TN, passed away Saturday evening, August 22, 2009. She was born June 26, 1918, the daughter of the late George and Jessie Reneau Rutherford. She was a graduate of Maury High School in Dandridge and moved to Knoxville, where she resided with her beloved late husband of 66 years, Charles Glen Reynolds, in the Spring Hill community. Evelyn was retired from Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center as a switch board operator and returned to Dandridge, where she has lived the last three years with her daughter. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Glen Reynolds (12-20-2008); grandson, Matthew Cissna; sister, Florence (Hollis) Holt; brothers, Bob, Leon and Joe Rutherford. Survived by daughter, Pat Semmer and husband, Dr. John Semmer of Dandridge; sons, Charles E. (Charley) Reynolds of Pigeon Forge and George S. (Sandy) Reynolds of New Market; grandchildren, Adam and Mary Beth Cissna of Knoxville, Josh and Stacy Reynolds and Micah Reynolds, all of New Market; great-grandchildren, Landon Ty Reynolds and Emma Grace Cissna; brother, Earl Rutherford and wife, Imogene of Morristown; sister, Mildred Grahl of Newport; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville with Rev. Ed Cloud officiating.
