Box 1025 Dandridge, TN 37725 Phone (865) 397-2711 Fax (865) 397-9289 OBITUARY: EVELYN MILLER GIBBONS, age 70, of Dandridge, TN, a loving wife and mother, went to be with her Jesus on Sunday, July 2, 2006 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of Hills Union United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary and was active in many church projects. She was retired from Electro-Voice in Newport, TN, a former employee of Dollywood, and an avid gardener who loved growing flowers as well as growing friendships with family and friends. Preceded in death by father and mother, Otha and Martha Russell Miller; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Helen Dockery Miller. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, David Gibbons; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Steve Bledsoe; son and daughter-in-law, Richey and Renea Miller; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and James Miller; grandchildren, Adam Bledsoe, Chad Trent and wife, Kasey, Kristen Trent and Tessa Miller; great grandson, Cole Edward Trent; step grandchildren, Mitchell Miller, Stevie Miller and Jessie Miller; nephew and wife, Sandy and Kathy Miller; special friends, Mary Jean Moore and Danyelle Miller; and all her loving church family. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with Reverend Alfred Newman and Brother Frankie Edmonds officiating. Interment will follow the evening service in Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
