Broadway Blvd. Jefferson City, TN 37760 Phone (865) 475-3892 Fax (865) 475-9916 OBITUARY: EVELYN PARKER GANN, age 86, known to everyone as MaMaw, of Jefferson City, TN, departed this life for her heavenly home on January 5, 2008 at Jefferson County Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Oak Hills Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, B. F. Gann, Sr.; daughter, Betty Collins; and great grandson, Marcus Brown. She leaves to mourn her; sons and daughters-in-law, B. F. Gann, Jr., Wayne and Imogene Gann, Claude (Shorty) and Brenda Gann, Ralph Gann, Bill Gann, all of Jefferson City, Johnny Bruce and Terry Gann of Dandridge; daughter, Mary Woods and husband, John of Talbott; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; sister, Helen Mease of White Pine; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to Brenda Golden and Christy Workman. Funeral services will be held from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Jimmy Norris officiating, assisted by Reverend Rick Doty and Reverend Roy Miller. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Mountain View Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice. The family will be at the home of John and Mary A. Woods.
