(BABE) BROWN PHIBBONS, age 84, of Dandridge, TN and formerly of Mitchellville, Maryland passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. Preceded in death by parents, John Krauth and Alice Lorena Brown; brothers, E. Stewart Brown and Eugene Brown. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert P. (Sonny) Phibbons, Jr.; children, Robert K. (Barbara) Phibbons of Davidsonville, Maryland, Gale (James R.) Johnson of Dandridge, TN, Jan E. Phibbons of Tuscon, AZ; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Robert K. Phibbons, Jr., Michelle, Lauren and Megan Phibbons of Davidsonville, Maryland, Glenn F., Tara and Tyler Myers of Brentwood, TN, Richard, Lydia and Andrew Myers of Palm Coast, FL, Stephanie, Stacy, Logan and Cory Clabough of Dandridge, TN; brothers, John K. (Lois) Brown, Jr. of Gainesville, VA; sister, Carol A. Hollister of South Carolina; sisters-in-law, Margaret Brown and Mary Lee Brown; special nephew and niece, Willis and Mary Ellen Emory of King George, VA; numerous other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Joel Ammons officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside interment service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
