EVALENA MCCAMPBELL MELVIN, age 73 of Morristown, TN, formerly of Virginia, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital Healthcare System. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ollie Free McCambell, Sr.; sister, Beulah Shults; brother, Curtis McCampbell. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Hickman of Altamonte Springs, FL; sister, Trula Carman of New Market, TN; brothers and sisters in law, William (Jack) and Marge McCampbell of Huntsville, AL, Walter B. (Pete) and Stella McCampbell, Jr. of Dandridge; sister in law, Mary Melvin; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003 at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Chuck Nicholson officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004 in the McCampbell Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 prior to the service.
