Eula M. Southern

EULA M. SOUTHERN, age 90, of Strawberry Plains, TN and formerly of Hancock County, TN went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Eula was a member of Little Mulberry Baptist Church in Hancock County. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Edgar Ray Southern; son, Eddie Southern; grandson, Adam Southern; parents, Will and Bertha Munsey; sisters, Beulah Edds and Stella Trent. She is survived by her daughter, Josephine Greene (Luke); six grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Southern Burchett; sister, Dorothy England; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Rev. Sam Grindstaff officiating. Graveside interment service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Southern Cemetery, Mulberry Gap Road, Sneedville, TN. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to give a special thank you to all of Eula’s loving caregivers over the years.
