Eugene "Gene" Lindsey

EUGENE "GENE" LINDSEY, age 68, of Dandridge, TN, a resident of the Jefferson County Nursing Home, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Rosan and Birtha Haynes Lindsey. Survived by wife of 38 years, Mary Bryan Lindsey of Abington, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Teresa Lindsey of Newport; granddaughter, Chelsea Lindsey; sisters, Shirley Hobbs of Nashville and Mildred Blackwell of Dandridge; brothers, Clifford "Earnie" Lindsey of North Carolina; special CNA and caregiver, Brittany Golden. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Carl Bryan and Rev. Terry Michaels officiating. Interment graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Deep Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
